Visa
Citizens of all countries (including the Commonwealth) require a valid passport and an appropriate visa. Visa must be obtained abroad from an Indian Mission. If you are planning to visit neighbouring countries, such as Nepal and Bhutan, and then re-entering India, a double/multiple entry visa should be obtained.

Health regulation
A valid yellow fever certificate is mandatory for all persons (including infants) who have been, even in transit, in Africa or South Africa or Papua New Guinea six days prior to their arrival. The certificate becomes valid 10 days after vaccination. India does not require immunization against small pox or cholera.

Climate
The weather in Delhi is very pleasant during the months of March to April. It is among the best time to travel to New Delhi. This is the time of the year when the royal city with a picturesque beauty brims with meadows, abounding with a variety of flowers. In fact, anyone with an eye for the inspiring splendor of nature will fall for Delhi. The temperature ranges from 25°C to 46°C and the heat wave, dry weather, insignificant precipitation (6.7 mm).

 

Currency
India’s currency unit is the rupee (Re), divided into 100 paise (p). There will be counter at the conference venue to help delegates convert foreign exchange into rupees or vice versa.

Accommodation
Accommodation can be arranged in the guest houses/hotels in Delhi on prior notice, for which the participants will have to bear the charges. The delegates are requested to send their requirements for hotel bookings in the hotel booking form.Hotel Registration

Voltage in Delhi is 220 VAC 50 Hz.
